1. Introduction

Welcome to Get Out, a social activity platform operated by Get Out Media IKE ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Get Out mobile application (the "App") and related services.

By using our App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our App.

2. Acceptance and Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Get Out. By using our App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

We are committed to child safety and have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. For detailed information, see our Child Safety Standards.

2.2 Geographic Limitation

Get Out operates exclusively in Greece. Our services are intended for users located in Greece.

2.3 Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

3. Platform Overview

3.1 Service Description

Get Out is a media platform that allows users to:

  • Create and discover local activities and events
  • Connect with other users through shared experiences
  • Communicate via messaging and group chats
  • Share photos, videos, and other content

3.2 User Types

  • Regular Users: Can join activities and interact with the community
  • Hosts: Can create and manage activities in addition to regular user features
  • All hosts are users and subject to the same terms and policies

4. User Responsibilities and Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Post spam, fake information, or misleading content
  • Create fake profiles or impersonate others
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content, including any content related to child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Attempt to hack, damage, or disrupt our services
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

User Safety Notice

  • • You are solely responsible for your safety during any activities
  • • We strongly recommend meeting in public places and using common sense
  • • Report suspicious behavior through our reporting system
  • • We are not responsible for user interactions or meetups

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post (photos, text, videos, etc.)
  • By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content
  • This license includes the right to use your content for promotional and marketing purposes
  • You represent that you have the right to grant these licenses

6. Activities and Payments

Payment Disclaimer

  • • We do not process payments or handle transactions
  • • All payment arrangements are between hosts and participants
  • • We take no commission from any activities
  • • We are not responsible for payment disputes or refunds

Participation in activities is entirely at your own risk. Hosts and participants are responsible for their own arrangements. We do not verify the accuracy of activity information and assume no liability for activities, cancellations, or disputes.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • • We are not responsible for user actions, interactions, or meetups
  • • We operate solely as a media platform connecting users
  • • Users assume all risks associated with using our platform
  • • You are solely responsible for your actions and interactions
  • • You must handle legal disputes directly with other users

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties or guarantees.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We provide our services on a "best effort" basis. We provide no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or performance. Services may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

12. Dispute Resolution and Legal Terms

12.1 Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by Greek law
  • Any disputes will be resolved in Greek courts
  • You agree to the jurisdiction of Greek courts

12.2 User Disputes

Users are responsible for resolving disputes among themselves. We are not a party to disputes between users and may provide information if legally required but are not mediators.
